Field And Stream Rain Gear
On a recent trip to the coast we encountered a group of cyclists that had begun their trip in Seattle (about 350 miles north of here), and we noticed one of the men was wearing a J & G Waterproof Rain Jacket. When we approached him and told him he was wearing “our” rain jacket, he hugged us, and said that we’d saved his life. He said, “I love this jacket! It’s been great. It’s kept me warm and dry all the way from Seattle. I haven’t taken it off!” His wife attested to that fact! "My favorite new nonbreathable rainwear was designed for cyclists, not fishermen, but it's perfect for a day in the boat. The jacket has extra fabric in the shoulders for unencumbered casting, and its back hangs low enough to cover any crack that may appear when you're bending over to boat a bass."---Field & Stream Magazine: "Gearing Up: Jackets and pants that will keep you dry in the nastiest weather" by Peter B. Mathiesen, March 2005.
